Gratz to my Baby!!

Getting in on this Micropayment structure, is a very good idea indeed.  The resources are readily available.  First step is the plan.  Once the plan is made, then comes investors.  Then office space, developers and management.  Then finally excecution and release to the wild.

If all goes well, the investement will be returned well over it’s original cost, thus financing the ability to make more games.  Games for the players.  Players that will come for more games.

I’m not at liberty to disclose anything to the public as of yet.  But you never know, if I find you in game (and it’s hard to say what game I’ll be in), I may ask you questions that will help pull the devine plan into action.

1. From the research I’ve done, it not only pays the bills, but in a year or two, it’s going to give World of Warcraft a run for it’s money!!
2. I have brilliant ideas.  I honestly do, problem is I don’t have the money to invest in the making of a game, nor do I have the coding skill required.  But, if I could team up with investors and programmers, we could make a game that could unseat WoW and the other big MMORPG names easily from their digital thrones.

Of course, it stands to reason that only a gamer would make a good game.  But also someone who listens to the other players know what players really want.

He also made me think.  A lot.  He was a big part of the reason I suffer from dumasaphobia.  In his own special way he made me realize about a lot of the stupid things we believe in and do as human beings.  It was a big part of his life as well was pointing out the shortcomings of others and turning it into humor.

Things like:

• Religion
• Government
• Lifestyles
• and so much more

I will miss him on the stage, in movies and in my thoughts.  George Carlin was a very wise man and I consider him a friend, even though we’ve never met.  I wish I could have.

Here’s George in one of my favorite bits:

See, I’ve spent the better part of my life as a technician.  Ten years as a PC tech, and the past 5 years as an ISP tech.  (I’ll tell you now, that ISP techs have a harder job than PC techs)  But the company that bought us is a computer repair/distribution company.  The owner is a nice guy for the most part.  Though he’s a Microsoft Fan Boy.  The only thing Microsoft I like is Windows XP.  I can’t stand Vista or Mac.  Absolutely hate Microsoft Office and loathe Outlook.  This is already causing some conflicts.  To make matters worse, because I spent part of my techie life working for Gateway, he seems to have a problem with my knowledge of computers.  Not that he’s ever tested me.  And while this may be understandable, as most of the so-called techs I worked with there, couldn’t tell a P4 connector from a floppy cable, I unlike them, do know a considerable amount about PC’s and their inner workings.  I don’t care to be “judged” on the fact that I used to work with these other losers.  This leaves me with a feeling of distaste for driving out of my way, paying high-ass gas prices for a meager raise.  It simply does not compensate.  While my immediate boss is trying to get me to stay and is going out of his way to make my life simplier… I only get to work to feel like an outcast by my new boss.

I’m not sure how long this will last.  I love my immediate boss, but it’s going to be hard fitting in with a boss that loves things I do not.  It not only hurts my comfort level in my work environment, but now it’s beginning to bother me outside of work.  This is not how I want to spend my years until retirement.  I don’t want to feel resented because of my past.  I’m a great tech, if only he’d see that.  If not, perhaps I should move on to something closer to home.

OK, enough of the pity party….  (starting to creep myself out)
