Being a bit light in the hair department, it’s lead to my requiring a cap to wear when I’m outside for extended periods of time. Either when going to Busch Gardens or simply mowing the yard. If I don’t sleeping becomes a severe uncomfortable issue as my burnt noggin keeps me awake.
Then for some reason, all hats sold locally deal with alcohol or sports or being the #1 Dad. Well… I’m not a sports fan, nor do I drink and I’m not so shallow that I’ll buy my own Dad hat. Or I could be like the rest of the rednecks around here and get a Git-R-Done hat.
uh…. no
So I’m a geek, duh it’s not big secret. I make things happen with a computer that makes most people scratch their sun-burnt head. So I went on line thinking I’ll find something I like. Perhaps an Intel or nVidia hat. Then I went to Think Geek. There it was… in Black (my favorite abstract) and it showed off some of what I do. Wireless Networking! Well this is a Wi-Fi detector. The price was extremely reasonable and since my birthday is next Monday, I ordered it for myself.
I got it today and already played with it. It works like a charm! It looks pretty good, the quality is outstanding – no visible flaws. Very comfortable. Am a tad disappointed in the lights can’t be seen in florescent lighting. I can understand being out in the sun not being able to be seen. But it’s a novelty hat, so no big deal. Though I was shocked that it not only came with batteries, but it also included a second set! So it’s a fine deal for only $14.99. Wow… this is starting to sound like a review… sorry….
In all, Happy Birthday to me!
