Convenience vs Quality Service

It absolutely amazes me that I actually will tolerate stupid people simply because it’s convenient to me.  Me, the owner of Dumasaphobia.com (inactive site).  {dŭm’ăs-ə-fō’bē-ə} The Fear of Stupid People.   Yet day after day I subject myself to the pain and agony that is Fast Food.

Everyone already knows that Fast Food isn’t good for your health based upon Nutrition Facts.  It’s also not healthy for your mentality when you have to deal with the stupidity thereof.

I can safely say that 85% or more of the visits I make to the local Wendy’s, McDonald’s, Arby’s or Taco Bell…. My food order will be either cold, incorrect or somehow mutated into something gross.  In a world where work is hard to find, you’d think our capable management of said establishments would be a bit more thorough in the interview process.  Apparently you only need reliable transportation to get the job these days.

Why do I go back time after time?  One word, convenience.  It’s much easier to grab a bite on the go rather than make it myself at 5 a.m.  Sad but true.  If only Fast Food managers would hire competent people, life would be good.
